About us

Chinese American Bible Church (CABC) began in fall 1999 when a small group of Christian families gathered to serve the Chinese-American community in Freehold, New Jersey. After prayer, the congregation started Sunday worship services at West Monmouth Baptist Church, with Cantonese preaching interpreted into English. Children’s Sunday School soon followed, and by 2002, separate English and Cantonese services, along with children’s worship, Awana, youth fellowship, adult Sunday School, and fellowships, were established.

God faithfully provided CABC with a welcoming home at West Monmouth Baptist Church for nearly a decade and raised up many servants to minister to the congregation. As the church grew, CABC prayerfully sought a permanent home. In 2008, God provided a nearby building, which was quickly purchased and renovated. The first worship service was held there on September 27, 2009, and the building was dedicated to God on March 27, 2010.

From 2010 to 2019, CABC continued to grow through challenges and changes. Mandarin worship and Sunday School began in 2013, alongside Mandarin, Cantonese, and English cell groups. Outreach ministries such as Ladies Tea, ping pong ministry, ESL classes, Ladies Fellowship, Young Adult Fellowship, and an Awana parents’ Bible study were added. In 2018, CABC joined the Southern Baptist Convention, BCNY, and MNYBA, while supporting missionaries and Christian academic institutions.

We recognized that these blessings are not just programs and what we do for God, but God using CABC to reach all people for the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. Laboring in obedience, God allows us to faithfully fulfill His Great Commission with zeal. To God be the Glory in Jesus’ name! Amen!
