CABC May 2022 Deacon Election
華美聖經教會2022年5月執事選舉

Election Guideline: 

  • The deacon selection committee consists of elders and deacons.

  • Votes will be collected until Sunday May 1, 2022.

  • Qualifications to vote or to be nominated: a CABC member at least 18 years old and in good standing; in accordance with Acts 6:3 and 1 Timothy 3:8-12.

  • If you are nominated, we hope you will humbly and prayerfully accept the calling.

選舉指南：

  • 執事甄選委員會將包括長老和現任執事。

  • 投票將開放至5月1日星期日。

  • 投票和被提名資格：必須年滿18歲CABC教會成員, 表现状况良好, 且根據使徒行傳 6:3 並 提摩太前書 3:8-12的指引。

Biblical Qualifications for Deacons 聖經提及作執事的資格：

Acts 使 6:1-6 

  1. "Choose seven men from among you." 從你們中間選出

  2. " of good reputation" 有好名聲

  3. "Full of Holy Spirit" 被聖靈充滿

  4. "Full of wisdom" 智慧充足

  1. Church helpers must also be good men and act so people will respect them. 必須端莊 v8

  2. They must speak the truth. 不一口兩舌 v8

  3. They must not get drunk. 不好喝酒 v8

  4. They must not have a love for money. 不貪不義之財 v8

  5. They must have their faith in Christ and be His follower with a heart that says they are right. 清潔的良心，固守真道的奧秘  v9

  6. They must first be tested to see if they are ready for the work as church helpers. 要先受試驗，沒有可責之處 v10

  7. Church helpers must have only one wife. 作一個婦人的丈夫 v12a

  8. They must lead their home well and their children must obey them. 好管理兒女和自己的家 v12b

Then if they do well, they may be chosen as church helpers. 然後叫他作執事。

Wife of the Deacons 執事的妻子:

  1. The wives of church helpers must be careful how they act. 必需端莊

  2. They must not carry stories from one person to another. 不說讒言 (不惡意控告人)

  3. They must be wise and faithful in all they do. 有節制，凡事忠心

Result 結果:

Those who work well as church helpers will be respected by others and their own faith in Christ Jesus will grow.  因為那好好服事的，就讓自己達到美好的境地，並且在基督耶穌裡的信仰上大有膽量。v13

Deacons Duty/Responsibility 執事的任務/責任:

If your gift is serving others, serve them well. 恩賜：如果是服事的，就用在服事
Be faithful to your master 對主忠心

I am at least 18 years or older and I am a member of Chinese American Bible Church either by baptism or transferred membership. According to the biblical guideline and careful examination of the potential candidates, I am nominating the following [3] brothers or sisters to serve as deacons for a 2-years term.

本人華美聖經教會會友，滿十八歳以上。我己清楚明白以上聖經對作執事的資格及對候選人有相當的認識。
我會選擇以下[三]位兄弟或姐妹作為本屆的兩年任期執事。
